Do you go to school? Or did you? If so, you have probably done some sort of winter sport with your class. Only if you live in a country that snows. Recently, I went curling with my class. Before we went, everyone was complaining.
“Oh well, curling is stupid it's the dumbest sport ever!” Just nasty comments about the sport, I won’t lie I complained a little myself. Anyways. Once we went, everybody seemed to enjoy it. Basically what you do in curling, you have a rock {a cut in half sphere} and a broom {a carbon fiber stick, about a metre long and an oval thing with a tight blanket wrapped around it} Once you have all your equipment you gather up a team of 4 people, once you have them all together you pick a team, red or blue, personally I like red. Basically, there's a little rubber slope thing nailed to the ice called the hack, and a slider with a grip side and a slippery side, the slippery side goes on the ice the grip side is what you step on. So if you're a righty, you put your left foot on the hack and your right foot on the slider. Next, you grab your rock and kneel down and grab the handle on the rock and push off of the hack. The goal is to get the rock into the house, a circle with 2 bigger ones around it. Over all we had a good time.
